Drift Hunters unblocked: play Drift Hunters online free right here in your browser — no download, no sign-up, works on a school Chromebook.
Drift Hunters is a 3D drifting game, not a racer. Nobody is chasing you and there is no finish line to beat. You take a car around a circuit and score points for holding long, sideways slides through the corners. The longer and cleaner the slide, the bigger the number that ticks up on screen.
That makes it an odd neighbour for a site built around Super Smash Flash and other keyboard brawlers, but it fills a different mood. Fighting games are about reading an opponent. Here the only opponent is your own throttle control, which suits a few relaxed minutes between rounds of Gun Mayhem 2 or House of Hazards.
Points are the currency. You earn them by drifting, spend them in the garage on a new car or on upgrades, and then go back out to earn faster. It is a small loop and an easy one to lose an evening to. Because it is an HTML5 build, it opens in the browser with nothing to install.
How to play
Steer with the left and right arrow keys or A and D, and use the up arrow or W for throttle. The handbrake is on Space, and it is the tool that starts a slide: approach a bend with speed, turn in, then tap the handbrake to kick the rear end out. The page's own control note also says a key press restarts after a mistake, and that touch screens use tap and swipe. A key such as C cycles the camera view in this game, so try it if the default angle feels wrong.
A good run is one long chain. Score builds while the car stays sideways, and stopping the slide or hitting a wall cuts the combo short. So the aim is to link one corner into the next without straightening up in between.
Tips
- Do not hold full steering lock. Steer into the slide, then ease off so the car keeps sliding instead of spinning.
- Feather the throttle. Too much power in a slide can swing the car round, and too little lets it straighten and ends the combo.
- Put early points into upgrades for the car you already have before buying the next one. A tuned starter car is easier to learn on than an expensive car you cannot control.
- Pick one corner and practise it repeatedly. Learning where the slide begins and ends on a single bend teaches more than driving whole laps carelessly.
Similar games on Super Smash Flash
Nothing else on the site is a drifting game, so the closest relatives are about pace rather than genre. Get On Top is a short, physics-driven game where control feels slippery in a similar way. Stick Fighter and Superbrawl are the places to go when you want to be back in a fight.
It suits players who like improving a number at their own speed, and a keyboard is the most comfortable way to play, though touch controls are available.
Questions about Drift Hunters
Is Drift Hunters unblocked at school?
Drift Hunters runs in an ordinary browser tab from supersmashflash.org, with nothing to download or install, so it plays on most school Chromebooks and work computers. If a network filter blocks the site, only that network's administrator can change it.
What are the controls in Drift Hunters?
Steer with the left and right arrows or A and D, accelerate with the up arrow, and use Space as the handbrake to start a slide. On a phone, tap and swipe.
How do you earn points in Drift Hunters?
Points come from drifting. The longer you hold a slide through a corner without hitting a wall, the more you score, and you spend them on cars and upgrades.
